Oh hi Shade, who are you?

Shade is a level 80 rogue on the Sisters of Elune server. She enjoys sunsets, long walks on the beach, and repeatedly stabbing things in the butt for fun and profit.

But seriously…

Shade’s been playing World of Warcraft since its original launch, and is an avid fan of both the game itself, and the lore and story surrounding the Warcraft universe. An active raider, she not only looks forward to, but enjoys dying repeatedly and beating her head against current content alongside her guild – the kills make it all worth it!

In addition to raiding, Shade is also a relatively active roleplayer – her RP guide on the SoE realm forums is an active sticky with a whole lotta people looking at it. Shade is not sure how this happened, but she is happy she’s helping people out.

Shade’s weaknesses are achievement points, non-combat pets, and mounts.

    Hello Lady!

I love it! Awesome as always. If i may, I would suggest reading ‘The Name of the Wind’ by Patrick Rothfuss. It is bar none the best book I have read in years. He’s slow out of the gate with the sequel but I have already read it twice and it gets better each time

Wow! I found this blog yesterday and was hooked. It’s so well written and interesting. I was so psyched when I came to this page and saw who you were…I totally remember you from when I was still a resident on SoE! I always thought you were such a great role-player and just a nice gal. Even though I’m not on SoE anymore, I think it’s wonderful that the server is being represented by such a great blog and writer. 🙂 It’s a small world (of Warcraft!)

(Also, omg Gelmarkk. :3 Hi! I was in GFB with you back in the day! Good times!)

    Hi Shade,

Your articles on here and on Wow are very informative, and I will take a closer look at them based on the following question. But I still want to ask this because it’s been on my mind for awhile and maybe you can help:

I’d like to travel the land of Azeroth in search of notable places of interest, just to see them. Everything from empty graves where once-great dragons lied (Sindragosa’s Fall) to giant trees that give life to the world (the Great Tree in Hyjal), but to do this, I’ve been looking for a website that offers locations for all types of major events. Do you know of any website like this? Of course, almost every area in WoW has some aspect of major lore to it, but I’m looking for the big stuff. Can you help?
